"I have very much enjoyed this course. I considered myself to be a good teacher of phonics, but have now realized that I had gaps in my knowledge and that perhaps the words that I've used to explain spellings may have confused children in the past. I am inspired to use what I have learnt with my own children and I'm looking forward to the challenges of adapting the Sounds-Write approach to Braille. A very useful 5 days - thank you."

Each of these books is 8 pages long and costs £2.50.

These informational texts complement the teaching of a knowledge curriculum. They are suitable for Y2/3 as well as for intervention settings. Children will develop their knowledge of different countries around the world - their geography, cuisine and politics - as well as practising the skills and code knowledge they have been learning.
